Bekaert Venturing invests globally in early-stage companies and venture capital funds. Our investments are an integral part of our innovation and growth strategy. We seek to partner with start-up or scale-up companies having innovative technologies that increase performance, reduce cost, or create new business models to Bekaert’s core business as well as innovations that stimulate the growth of applications for our wire, fiber and coatings related products and services.

Bekaert Venturing does not invest as a pure financial player, as our targets are driven both by the strategic value from the portfolio company and its financial returns. This approach also allows us to look beyond short term financial returns and take longer term benefits into account.
